Vremena Smuty Game Rules
Article 1. Character Control Transfer, Multi-Accounting, and Hacking.
1.1. Voluntary transfer of character control to a third party; controlling another player's character.
Sharing a login, password, or any other access to a character with another player for any purpose.
1.2. Multi-accounting.
Controlling multiple characters not linked to a single game account, simultaneously or alternately, for the purpose of gaining in-game advantages.
1.3. Suspected loss of character control due to hacking.
If hacking is confirmed, the character is placed under temporary freeze until the situation is resolved. If disproved — immediate release.
1.4. Attempts to steal passwords, hacking, or aiding in the hacking of Vremena Smuty internet resources and characters.
Includes phishing, password brute-forcing, exploitation of vulnerabilities, as well as any assistance to third parties in carrying out the above actions.
⚠️ Penalty under Art. 1: temporary freeze up to full account ban at the discretion of the Administration.
Article 2. Financial Violations.
2.1. Financial boosting.
The intentional transfer of in-game valuables between characters of different accounts for the purpose of artificial enrichment. Transactions between characters of the same account are not considered financial boosting.
2.2. Transfer of a character's assets to a clan treasury as a result of hacking or theft.
A clan that accepts such assets bears equal responsibility with the offender. The assets are subject to confiscation.
2.3. Violation of the "Lending Policy".
Failure to repay a loan within the established timeframe, or evasion of credit obligations.

Article 3. Deception, Fraud, and Blackmail.
3.1. Extortion, blackmail, coercion into a transaction.
Any actions aimed at obtaining in-game valuables or services through threats, pressure, or manipulation.
3.2. Deception in trades, shops, or on the forum.
Deliberately misleading another player regarding the terms, value, or subject of a transaction.

Article 4. Buying/Selling In-Game Valuables for Real Money; Gifting and Trading Characters.
4.1. The following offers and completed transactions are strictly prohibited:
- buying/selling in-game currency, items, or resources for real money or their digital equivalents;
- buying/selling real-life services in exchange for in-game valuables;
- buying/selling, gifting, or trading characters and clans in Vremena Smuty;
- buying/selling, gifting, or trading characters and clans in other online games.
⚠️ Penalty under Art. 4: temporary freeze up to full account ban at the discretion of the Administration.
Article 5. Use of Bugs and Third-Party Software.
5.1. Suspected use of a bug.
A character may be placed under temporary freeze pending investigation.
5.2. Exploiting a bug.
Intentional exploitation of game mechanics errors for personal gain. Any benefit obtained is subject to full removal.
5.3. Use of automated character control software (scripts, bots).
Any software that partially or fully automates a character's actions in the game.
5.4. Voluntary bug reporting.
A player who independently reports a discovered bug is exempt from punishment. A reward may be issued at the discretion of the Administration.

Article 6. Violations of Shop, Clan, and Character Page Design Rules.
6.1. Violations in shop design and clan logos.
Publishing images, texts, or symbols that violate the Vremena Smuty Chat Rules: profanity, discrimination, NSFW content, political or religious symbols, advertising of third-party resources.
6.2. Violations on a character's information page.
Publishing content in a character profile that violates the Vremena Smuty Chat Rules: insults, obscene content, false information, or discrediting the project or the Administration.
⚠️ Penalty under Art. 6: a requirement to remedy the violation within 24 hours; upon failure to comply or for repeated violations — temporary freeze up to full account ban at the discretion of the Administration.
Article 7. Violations of Game Rules by Officials.
Any violation of these Rules committed by a Vremena Smuty official in the course of or in connection with their duties is considered in light of their position and entails heightened responsibility.
Violations include:
- Disclosure of official information — sharing with third parties any information obtained in the course of performing duties (complaint data, Administration decisions, internal correspondence).
- Abuse of authority — applying sanctions not provided for in the guidelines, or making decisions outside one's competence.
- Misuse of official position — using access to game tools for personal gain or in the interests of third parties.
- Collusion with players — deliberately assisting players in violating the Rules using one's official position.
- Failure to perform duties — systematic ignoring of complaints, unjustified decisions, failure to follow orders from superiors or the Administration.
- Disrespectful treatment of players — insults, provocations, or discrimination while performing official duties.
⚠️ Penalty under Art. 7: removal from position (dismissal without right to reinstatement) and/or temporary freeze, and/or account ban for any duration at the discretion of the Administration.
Collusion between an official and a player entails the maximum penalty for both parties.
