Chapter 1. General Provisions.
This User Agreement (hereinafter "Agreement") governs the relationship between the Administration of the multiplayer online role-playing game "Vremena Smuty" (hereinafter "Game"), hosted on the Internet at www.vsmuta.com and related services associated with the aforementioned domain, as well as related game resources (hereinafter "Resource"), and the user of the Game (hereinafter "User").
Article 1. Subject of the Agreement.
1.1. The subject of this Agreement is the provision by the Administration of access for the User to the Game, services, and events conducted within the Game;
1.2. Access to the Game is provided free of charge. The Game may offer additional paid features or voluntary project support. Such payments are voluntary and are not a required condition for using the Game;
1.3. The User independently and at their own expense pays for their computer software and Internet access.
Article 2. Parties to the Agreement.
2.1. User — an individual who has reached the age of 16 and has registered on the Game's website. A person is considered a User from the moment they confirm their acceptance of the terms of this Agreement;
2.2. Game Administration — persons who provide access to game resources and ensure the operation of the Game. The Administration is the sole and exclusive owner of any valuables within the Game, with the exception of images, software, and/or texts assigned by the Administration of Vremena Smuty to a specific user or group of users.
Chapter 2. Rights and Obligations of the Parties.
Article 3. Rights of the User.
The User has the right to:
- Use the Game for any personal non-commercial purposes;
- Access the Game using one (single) game account and participate in gameplay with characters linked to that account;
- At their own discretion, restrict the rights and freedoms of their in-game characters;
- Delegate representation of their interests to other users of the Game;
- Submit proposals to the Administration for improvement of the Game.
Article 4. Obligations of the User.
The User is obligated to:
- Comply with the provisions of this Agreement, as well as the rules and laws of the Game;
- Report to the Administration any errors found in the game's program code;
- Ensure the security of their game account passwords. Sharing passwords with third parties is prohibited;
- Upon request by the Administration, provide accurate and complete information sufficient to identify the owner of the game account;
- By posting any content in the Game (messages, comments, images, and other materials), the User grants the Administration a non-exclusive right to use such content within the scope of the Game's operation.
Article 5. Rights of the Administration.
The Administration has the right to:
- Restrict or terminate access to the Game without prior notice to the User and without explanation;
- Delete (or modify) any information posted on the Game's websites or other resources owned by the Administration and directly related to the Game;
- Close and/or restrict the functionality of the Game without prior notice to Users;
- Restrict, expand, modify the quality of services, or discontinue their provision without prior notice to the User;
- Collect technical information necessary for the operation of the Game (such as IP addresses, cookies, and browser technical data) in accordance with the Privacy Policy;
- Unilaterally terminate this Agreement and discontinue the provision of Game services without prior notice.
Article 6. Obligations of the Administration.
The Administration is obligated to:
- Provide the User with free access to the Game;
- Not transfer to third parties, except as required by law, and not disclose information received from the User.
Chapter 3. Liability of the Parties.
Article 7. The Administration shall not be liable for any losses or other damages incurred by the User as a result of using or being unable to use the Game or information about the Game, or in connection with the actions of third parties, including other users of the Game.
The Administration does not guarantee stable and uninterrupted operation of the service, but strives to achieve it.
Chapter 4. Entry into Force, Duration, and Amendment of this Agreement.
Article 8. This Agreement enters into force upon the User's confirmation of acceptance of its terms at the time of registration in the Game (for newly registered Users), and five (5) days after the official publication of this Agreement on the Game's official resources for existing users.
Article 9. The Agreement is concluded for an indefinite period.
Article 10. The Agreement may be amended by the Administration without prior notice by publishing the latest version of the Agreement on the Game's Resources.
If, after five (5) days from the date of publication of the amendments (or new version of the Agreement), the Player continues to use the Game, it shall be deemed that the Player has read and agreed to the Agreement (new version).
Article 11. Governing Law.
This Agreement is governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable law. All disputes arising in connection with the use of the Game shall be resolved in accordance with applicable legislation.
